FromeFM has submitted a project bid to Nat West - Please help with your vote
Nat West Community Force are offering 3 grants to community organisations in each of their areas. The way Nat West are deciding who gets the grants is through a public vote.
FromeFM has submitted a project bid to Nat West and now we have to get as many votes as we can to try and win the £6000. If we get the money, more than half of it will be used to refurbish the main mixing desk so we’re ready for FM. The rest will be put towards our running costs.
We’re up against 58 other projects in our area (which in Nat West terms is the Salisbury area) and the 3 projects that score highest in the public vote will win out.
You get up to 3 votes, but you can only cast 1 for any particular project. You can vote for projects anywhere in the country.
I’ve attached instructions on how to vote for us. You have to register with the Nat west site, go to our project and then you vote. Then you can vote for 2 other projects either in our area or elsewhere. In the instructions I’ve mentioned a couple of other Frome organisations who also have bids in with Community Force and you may also wish to support one or more of them.
Please vote for us so we can bring the benefit of Nat West’s money to Frome – this is the only grant making body that I’ve come across that is led by the views of ordinary people on a vote. What will make the difference will be the extra votes that come from partners, children, parents, friends, neighbours etc. All anyone has to do to get their 3 votes is register with the site.
Voting closes this Saturday, so if you are able to help, please don't delay.
